QA Manager - £50,000 - £80,000 + bens

Join a leading international provider of travel-related fintech solutions is seeking a QA Manager to join their UK-based team. Operating globally and partnering with high-profile names in the banking and fintech sectors to deliver seamless airport services such as lounge access, fast track security, and dining experiences.

The QA Test Manager will lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across internal and external teams, taking ownership of QA strategy, execution, stakeholder reporting, and continuous improvement in testing standards. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic, cross-functional environment and has a strong grasp of both technical QA and client-facing collaboration.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead UAT cycles, ensuring thorough test coverage and smooth execution across internal and external parties.
  • Define, develop, and manage test plans, scripts, and data sets, aligning with functional requirements.
  • Raise and track bugs and issues, coordinating fixes and updates with internal development teams and external partners.
  • Host regular UAT sync sessions with high-profile stakeholders (e.g., banking and payment partners).
  • Create fake test data (e.g., PANs, BINs, entitlement configs) and manage test card provisioning.
  • Develop and distribute test reports, progress updates, and bug status logs to clients.
  • Deliver Customer Service Packs and lead demos to showcase new product features or changes.
  • Work closely with developers and IT to unblock testing issues and streamline QA phases.
  • Ensure testing processes and QA methodologies align with industry standards and drive continuous improvement across the QA function.
  • Support in client-facing security assessments and assist the QA Director in broader testing coordination.

What We’re Looking For

  • Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential due to global collaboration.
  • Proven experience in QA and UAT management, ideally in a fast-paced or regulated environment.
  • Strong ability to develop and manage test assets—plans, scripts, and test data—across multiple project phases.
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience working alongside both internal developers and external clients/partners.
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin or Cantonese is essential due to global collaboration.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement, particularly with external vendors (e.g., Thales, NCC) or major partners (e.g., Visa).
  • Familiarity with web and mobile application testing.
  • Exposure to automated testing (UI, API) and performance testing tools.
  • Knowledge of test reporting and QA tools such as Jira, TestRail, or similar.
