Reeson Education is partnering with a dedicated education setting in Wythenshawe to find an exceptional Learning Support Mentor. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Learning Support Mentor to make a meaningful impact, supporting students who require additional guidance in their learning and personal development.

This Learning Support Mentor role is available immediately and is a full-time, long-term position with the opportunity for progression.

About the Learning Support Mentor Role:

As a Learning Support Mentor, you will work closely with students, helping them engage in learning and develop key life skills.
You will support pupils with a range of needs, including SEMH, autism, ADHD, and other learning difficulties.
The Learning Support Mentor will provide one-to-one and small group support, fostering confidence and motivation in students.
You will collaborate with teachers and pastoral staff to implement strategies that promote positive behaviour and academic progress.
The role is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

The Ideal Learning Support Mentor Will:

Have experience working with children or young people in a school, alternative provision, or similar setting.
Be confident supporting pupils with SEMH needs, autism, ADHD, and other learning challenges.
Be proactive, patient, and adaptable in responding to individual student needs.
Have strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
Hold a relevant qualification in education, child development, or a related field (desirable but not essential).

Learning Support Mentor Requirements:

You will go through our quick and simple vetting process, with 24/7 consultant support.
A clear Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
Two professional references covering the last three years.
Experience working with pupils who have SEMH, autism, ADHD, or other additional needs.
