In-House Senior Legal Assistant | Manchester | £30k

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Legal Assistant to join the Legal team of a leading global fashion brand.

This hands-on role, reporting to the Legal Counsel, will support a wide range of legal tasks, primarily focusing on Commercial and Property areas within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will gain exposure to a variety of legal matters, including contracts, agreements, leases, and intellectual property issues, across multiple jurisdictions. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop key relationships with both internal stakeholders and external contacts, while working on a diverse set of legal challenges.

In-House Senior Legal Assistant Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with legal tasks and administrative queries in Commercial, Property, Logistics, Technical, Social Media & Influencers, and Trademark matters.
  • Provide general legal and administrative support, including contract review, document preparation, and filing.
  • Ensure legal information and documentation are stored accurately and confidentially.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support legal processes and improve workflows.
  • Maintain high attention to detail while managing shifting deadlines and multiple priorities.
  • Work with external parties to develop relationships and gain valuable industry insights.

In-House Senior Legal Assistant Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree in Law.
  • Ideally, 5 years' experience in a legal assistant role, with at least one year from a university placement.
  • Knowledge of property law, commercial contracts, and intellectual property law.
  • Experience with office administration.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, handling legal matters with confidentiality and integrity.

In-House Senior Legal Assistant Skills:

  • Highly numerate with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyse complex data and communicate findings clearly.
  • Proactive self-starter with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
