M&E Estimator needed in Manchester
randstad are recruiting a Estimator with a bias in M&E that has experience in design and build for one of our national clients in Manchester. The company specialises in building high quality & high value commercial projects. They are a well established company in the UK and are seen as one of the market leaders in the UK construction industry. A true advocate for work life balance with this role being hybrid 37.5 hours per week role.

The Role
- Liaise with Bid Team & Technical Designers to ensure high quality & detailed proposals are submitted in line with client requirements..
- Preparing all enquiries for sign off at the relevant level in good time as to allow for changes to take effect within the deadline submittal date.
- Ensure all tenders are to the latest industry standards.
- Applying for project pricing & liaising with our supply chain to ensure the most competitive rates are used at all times.
- Using drawings and specifications to produce competitive tenders.
Skills and Experience
Previous M&E experience
Relevant HNC/HND
Experience in using estimating software such as Xtreme Estimating
Proficient in MS Office
