Our client, a leading provider of mechanical and electrical (M&E) services, is seeking an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team.

Specializing in delivering high-quality M&E solutions across a range of sectors, our client is looking for a skilled professional to manage the financial aspects of M&E projects, ensuring they are delivered efficiently, on time, and within budget.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the financial management of mechanical and electrical projects, from pre-construction to completion.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and pricing for M&E works, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client requirements.
  • Manage tendering and procurement processes, including assessing subcontractor quotes and negotiating contracts.
  • Monitor project costs and performance, ensuring that projects remain on budget and that variations are properly managed.
  • Prepare valuations, manage project variations, and produce final accounts for M&E projects.
  • Provide value engineering and cost-saving solutions during the project lifecycle.
  • Work closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure effective communication and successful project delivery.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, assess work quality, and address any cost-related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, health and safety standards, and client specifications.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an M&E Quantity Surveyor within the construction or M&E services sector.
  • Strong knowledge of M&E systems, materials, and construction processes.
  • Experience in cost estimation, contract management, and project delivery for mechanical and electrical projects.
  • Proficiency in industry-specific software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Relevant qualifications (Degree in Quantity Surveying, M&E, or related field).
