What is Stow.?

Stow. will be an open fire restaurant & cocktail bar with its main focus and aim being to give people a great time. There will be incredible local produce, cooked simply over fire along with classic cocktails (made the best way they should be) and unique variations, along with great French wine, local beers but most importantly in a brilliant atmosphere. There will be great music, low lighting, candles, a fully open kitchen that you can dine at and a bar to sit and drink at.


STOW - Restaurant Manager, £34,000pa // + 10% Bonus, split quarterly // + Tips & Tronc

As a Restaurant Manager, youll have the responsibility for managing the day to day running of the business. A hands-on leader, motivating the team and charming guests, whilst ensuring standards are adhered too.

We are looking for someone with a strong set of values that shine through as an example and tone for the rest of the team. Someone who has experience within hospitality, in both wet and dry lead businesses, experience with a range of roles and responsibilities and not shy from getting stuck in operationally.

As the restaurant manager, you are the leader of the front of house team and responsible for all areas that impact the running and aesthetics of food service for front of house. This means ensuring all food service standards are always adhered to, whilst maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of anything within guests view.

We are looking for you to lead from the front and ensure all guests are having an amazing dining experience, whilst displaying a warm and friendly demeaner.

Roles & Responsibilities

FOH Team

We are looking for someone who can create a fun, positive and professional working environment that encourages team members development. We drive to ensure the team are happy, engaged and trained to a high level. These responsibilities include:

  • Appraisals, 1-2-1s & coffee chats on a regular bases
  • Disciplinaries and dismissal procedures
  • Recruitment
  • Training
  • Day-to-Day team development with energy and enthusiasm

Other Roles & Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the Owner Operators & Bar Manager
  • Duty management of the full venue
  • Driving and innovating to push top line sales
  • Managing payroll & purchases on a daily bases
  • Controlling cost lines in keeping with budget
  • Adhere to high cleanliness, health & safety, fire regulations & compliance standards
  • Ensuring Stow is always adhering to all licencing conditions
  • Safety & security of the site and contents within
