We are looking for a resilient and passionate Head of Year to support pupils achieve their full potential starting in January. If you have experience pastorally or as a head of year, please get in touch!
You will have high expectations as a Head of Year, supporting students to achieve their full potential academically, socially and emotionally. You will promote excellent behaviour and attendance, acting as a key positive support for students in your year group.
Head of Year - About the role
* Support students in an emotional, academic and social capacity
* Uphold excellent standards for behaviour and attendance
* Promote the schools values and ethos
* Deal with any safeguarding concerns appropriately and sensitively
* Work with class teachers and senior leaders to support pupils
* Liaise with parents regarding progress
* Encourage and motivate pupils
* Long term position - January start
* Paid 130-145 a day
Head of Year - Requirements
* Relevant pastoral experience working in KS3 and KS4.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Resilience and empathy
* Excellent behaviour management skills
