Maths teacher - Salford - ASAP start - temp to perm A dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher is required to work at a popular secondary school in Salford, to join them on a full-time basis, as soon as possible. You will be teaching key stage 3 & 4 classes. of various academic abilities and it is essential that you hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) . This position is five days a week, full time, and is open to ECTs as well as experienced teachers. The role will commence as a supply teacher but will then you will have the opportunity to become permanent at the school. You will be required to become fully involved within the department & school, like a permanent member of staff, and attend departmental meetings when required, and be available for parents' evenings as well as planning and delivering captivating, high standard lessons that will stretch the pupils in their learning. This school teaches Edexcel at GCSE and has a key focus on problem solving and reasoning skills throughout KS3 and KS4. You will also be required to mark the work and provide feedback along the way, in tandem with AfL. This is a Good school in terms of behaviour and attitude, personal development and leadership and management. The pupils enjoy the school and respect each other and the staff creating a caring environment for everyone involved.
