Office Angels are currently recruiting for Data Classification Analysts on behalf of our prestigious client based in Manchester City Centre.
This will be a temporary contract until the end of 2024 with the possibility of extension into the new year. It is a hybrid role where you will be expected to attend the office a minimum of 1 day per week, although you will need to attend the office more while training. The pay rate will be 16.25 - 19.20 per hour depending on skills.
Working in the Information Security and Data team, you will be reviewing a high volume of data fields and classifying them. The classification will require you to consider the sensitivity of the information and data protection.
Duties will include:
* Classify data fields in line with policies and procedures
* Perform data analysis and validation ensuring consistency
* Understand and comply with GDPR
We are looking for candidates with:
* Experience of working with large data sets using MS Excel
* A good understanding of the principles of GDPR
* High standards of accuracy and attention to detail
* The ability to work to tight deadlines and collaboratively with team members
