Macmillan Davies are delighted to be recruiting for an Employee Relations Advisor to join this renowned sports and luxury retailer at the forefront of the industry.

For this role we are seeking an experienced Employee Relations (ER) Advisor to join the wider onsite HR team where you will play a crucial role in managing high-volume ER casework, ensuring the fair and consistent application of the policies and procedures. You'll also act as first point of contact for any queries regarding any HR and ER and HR issues providing managers with advice and guidance.

Reporting directly to the HR Business Partner (HRBP), you will be instrumental in fostering a positive and productive workplace environment.

This role will be based at a flagship distribution site 5 days per week in Shirebrook and so previous experience gained from a comparable logistics/distribution environment would be very beneficial.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven track record in a similar ER/HR role from within a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Experience of handling ER cases including disciplinary and grievance, appeals, absence management and redundancy
  • Up to date knowledge of employment legislation including GDPR
  • Resilient, flexible, assertive, and confident in approach
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Excellent stakeholder, people and change management skills
  • Good analytical and systems skills
  • Problem solving ability in a fast-paced business
