The role of eCommerce Trading Manager is to define, lead, and execute a robust digital trading strategy. In this role you will have full ownership of driving digital sales through strategic commercial planning and seamless execution across digital fascias.

The roles and responsibilities of this eCommerce Trading Manager role:

  • Oversee the day-to-day trading and execution of the DTC e-commerce platform.
  • shaping and delivering campaign, brand, and promotional strategies while collaborating closely with digital marketing, commercial, and UX & optimisation teams.
  • To enhance conversion rates and key customer and sales performance metrics.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive reporting on daily, weekly, monthly, and annual trade performance, delivering in-depth analysis of key business drivers.
  • Create and implement action plans to achieve sales and profit targets.
  • Guide the team in analysing seasonal sales trends to enhance commercial awareness, understand competitor activity, and track customer behaviour.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders across digital and broader business teams to shape and execute the fascia digital trading calendar.
  • Define and drive a long-term trading strategy, considering site design, functionality enhancements, and contributions to product development and UX roadmaps.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to develop seasonal content strategies that enhance SEO, customer engagement, and conversion rates.
  • Oversee the process of optimising product content, supporting teams to resolve issues efficiently to maximise sales potential.

To be successful in this eCommerce Trading Manager role:

  • Ideally having a minimum of 4 years + experience in a comparable digital role within a retail or consumer brand environment.
  • Experienced in managing and optimising e-commerce platforms.
  • Must have valid working rights in the UK.
  • Highly analytical with strong reporting capabilities; proficient in Google Analytics & Content square.
  • Have led an Executive or Coordinator level
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently.
