Annie A Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Senior Buyer and Stock Controller for a manufacturing company based in Mansfield. Reporting into the Procurement Manager you will be responsible for stock management and building relationships with suppliers.

Applicants will have previous experience of working in buying or stock control and ideally be from a manufacturing background, although this is not essential. Knowledge of season stock changes and contract and supplier management are key in this role.

Duties:

  • Building relationships with suppliers and negotiating new contract deals
  • Assisting with the implementation of new stock control system
  • Ensuring stock levels are adequate for the seasonal requirements
  • Ensure all product codes are kept up to date and assigned correctly
  • Researching new suppliers and seeking better contracts
  • Finalising contract agreements with suppliers
  • Ordering in stock along with business needs and completing require paperwork
  • Ensuring stock module is kept up to date at all times
  • Completing stock checks
  • Assisting and supporting the procurement manager
