We are looking for an Assistant Service Managerto join ourGroup F team based in Benwick and March.

Reporting to the Service Manager and working closely with family members, the successful candidate will demonstrate the values of The Edmund Trust and be adaptable and friendly with a passion for supporting people with a learning disability.This role will oversee two supported living services for two Autistic gentlemen.

To be considered for this role, it is essential that you are:

Experienced at supporting people who have learning and physical disabilities and have experience of Autism

Great at communicating

Proactive, dynamic and adaptable

Person centred

Able to recognise that families have an important part in the persons life and have insightful and valuable contributions

Experienced at mentoring and supporting staff and leading a team positively

Driven and passionate

Able to think outside the box

Able to undertake administration tasks in a timely and organised manner

Confident in following support agreements, plans and policies at all times

Able to work as a team but also confident at lone working

Able to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings

Are a driver with your own car

If you have (or are working towards) a Diploma in Health and Social Care (Level 3, minimum) we would like to hear from you.

You will need to be passionate and motivated about getting the support right for people and be able to coach and mentor staff with confidence.

As part of this role, you will be included on an out of hours on call rota covering all services across The Edmund Trust as Tier 1 support. This rota is shared across all managers and is typically an average of 1 week in every 3 months.

The role is full time 35 hours per week, the starting salary is £29,447 per annum
