Our client is a leading low-volume manufacturer based in Market Harborough who is looking to add a quality engineer to the team. After a period of growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced quality engineer who can assist with the compliance of their manufacturing on-site.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the company's adherence to manufacturing standards
- Conducting audits
- Maintaining Quality ISO (9001 and 14001/45001)standrads
- Using Quality Management Systems
- Creating, Managing and Storing the records and procedures related to new customers and processes
- Occasional site visits
- INvestigating non-conformance reports
- Developing and implementing technical procedures
- Ensuring -external contractor recommendation reports such as UKCA/CE are implemented
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment
- Full right to work in the UK without limitation
- Experience in a heavier/ low volume manufacturing environment
- Technical dgeree or time-served as a Quality Engineer
- Technically minded- with great communication skills both written and spoken
- Any qualificstions relating to auditing or mechanical engineering would be beneficial
