Office Administrator

Location – Marlow – Fully office based

Please note parking onsite is available on Fridays, Monday to Thursday there is parking 2 minutes away for £6.70 for the day, or free on-street parking 15 minute walk away. 

Hours – 9am-5pm Monday – Friday (30 minute lunch break)

Salary - £30-32,000

Holiday allowance – 25 days + bank holidays

My client, based in Marlow, are looking for an Office Administrator to join their friendly busy team. They are based in the town centre, so a great location to run errands or pick up lunch/dinner on your break!

Your role will be to provide operational administrative support to ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently, daily duties include:

  • Processing new memberships via the website/paypal.
  • Sending out new membership packs
  • Registering delegates, preparing packs, and assist with coordination/administration for conferences.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for all enquiries via phone and email.
  • To coordinate and facilitate activities with the board of trustees and advisory council.
  • Facilitate media and press enquiries
  • Responsible for inward and outgoing mail
  • Coordinating mail shots
  • Booking in of fortnightly team meetings and noting down action points.
  • Assisting other departments when required.
  • Maintain staff rota ensuring there is always sufficient cover.
  • Ordering stationary and tea/coffee
  • General filing
  • Other ad hoc duties when required

Essential criteria:

  • Administration experience
  • ‘Can do’ attitude – you must be prepared to support your team members when required, everyone chips in!
  • Ability to work in a team and independently
  • Competent use of word, excel and outlook
  • Willingness to learn
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
