Our client is seeking a Key Account Manager to play a pivotal role in nurturing and developing customer relationships. The successful candidate will work closely with the Operations Director and Contract General Manager to coordinate business functions to meet the agreed customer Joint Vision.

What you'll do:

As a Key Account Manager, your role will be instrumental in supporting and developing customer relationships. You will be responsible for implementing and sustaining the Customer Engagement System, which includes developing strategic account plans. Your understanding of customers' businesses at a strategic level will enable you to identify potential challenges and opportunities. You will lead initiatives that enhance service offerings to customers, thereby improving overall customer experience. Your leadership skills will be crucial in fostering key relationships within the account team. Additionally, you will coordinate all renewal activities to ensure successful retention of customer contracts.

  • Implement and sustain the Customer Engagement System including development of the strategic account plan
  • Support the customer to maintain competitive advantage through its operations and services
  • Understand at a strategic level the customers business and its potential challenges and opportunities
  • Identify initiatives that enhance the service offerings to the customer and maximise efficiency
  • Lead and encourage the development of key relationships throughout the account team
  • Coordinate all renewal activity to ensure successful retention of customer contracts at expected levels of profitability
