Are you an experienced Recruitment and/or HR Assistant looking for a new role with flexible hybrid working in Derby? If you are a passionate recruiter who can build excellent relationships with stakeholders and enjoy the variety of added HR generalist duties this is a fantastic opportunity with an organisation who champion their people reflected in a competitive salary and benefits package.

As a Recruitment & HR Assistant your role is varied and requires someone who is proactive with excellent attention to detail and can work with stakeholders and the wider people team to deliver the People Strategy with duties including:

  • Working directly with hiring managers to create role profiles and write captivating adverts
  • Screening and shortlisting candidate applications
  • Assisting with candidate interviews, both virtually and in-person
  • Ensuring a positive candidate journey for all applicants by keeping in regular contact and providing feedback
  • Issuing contacts of employment
  • Assisting with maintenance of careers page
  • Supporting with new starters and leaver processes
  • Assisting wider HR team with any employee enquiries relating to contacts, pay reviews, bonus, package negotiations and any other ad hoc enquiries

This is a full-time position working 37.5 hours Monday to Friday with flexibility on start & finish times and hybrid working - 3 days on site. Please note this is a 12 month FTC role and we need candidates to be able to start no later April 2025.

For this role we are looking for candidates who have experience across the Recruitment lifecycle from profile building & advert writing through to interview, offer management and on-boarding and experience working in HR Administration. You will have experience in stakeholder management and be computer literate with ATS / CV databases and HRIS.

As a person you will be proactive and someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same and you can multi-task and effective prioritise and time manage.
