Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Claims Administrator to join Derbyshire County Council on an initial 3 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday based in Matlock.
Key Duties
- Administer claims for the County Council and other parties
- Gather and processinformation to enable accurate assessments
- Manipulate, reconcile and monitor risk and insurance records through detailed data analysis
- Assist in maintaining systems, guidance notes and procedure manuals
- Provide information and support to those within the service area and other departments
- Handling queries from internal and external customers
- Contribute to the success of the team, planning and organising workload to meet deadlines
Requirements:
- Excellentnumeracy, literacy and accuracyskills and an ability to useinitiativeto solve problems
- Strongadministrativeandorganisational skills
- Customer careand resolution-focused and an ability to prioritise and workaccurately
- Experience of working withdatabase systemsand Microsoft packages
- Goodinterpersonal,writtenandverbal communicationskills
- Educated to level 2, including NVQ and GCSE or equivalent
