DK Recruitment are thrilled to be partnering with a highly successful and growing company in their search for a Finance Manager. The role is located in Liskeard with the company having locations across the UK.

For this exciting opportunity we are looking for a highly self-motivated and proactive individual to join the company and play a crucial role within the accounts department and wider business. 
 
Job Summary:
 
This role involves working closely with all departments to ensure financial compliance and enhance operational efficiency. The ideal candidate should be a strong communicator with keen attention to detail, capable of both contributing as a team player and uniting the team to work effectively together.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Assist Senior Finance Manager with month-end tasks, including accruals, prepayments, and invoice monitoring.
  • Prepare management reports, contras, and journals for internal stakeholders.
  • Support credit control by applying for credit cover and chasing delayed payments.
  • Assist the Factory with fresh orders, stock clearance, and procedural updates.
  • Provide holiday cover for stock management, purchase orders, bank deposits, and payments.
  • Process invoices for transport, storage, and stock, and request supplier credit notes.
 A Bit About You

  •  CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified with relevant experience or newly qualified looking for a step up.
  • Proven capability in the delivery of accurate and timely financial information within agreed deadlines. 
  • Experience of leading and mentoring a team to assure the smooth running of the accounts department. 
  • Strong and effective communication skills as you will be a business partner to senior stakeholders across the business
  • Within commutable distance to Liskeard as the role is predominantly office based
