Job Title: Hair and Beauty Commercial Co-ordinatorType of Business: EducationLocation: RotherhamAnnual Salary: £25,600-£27,121 depending on experienceStart Date: ASAPHours: 37 GI Group are now seeking to appoint a Hair and Beauty Commercial Co-ordinator to our client based in Rotherham. The Hair and Beauty Commercial Co-ordinator will co-ordinate the operation of a commercial salon within a training environment. They will look at ways to increase sales and revenue for the salon as well as assessing the performance of learners within other commercial environments.Main Duties of the Hair and Beauty Commercial Co-ordinator:

  • Coordinate the operation of the commercial salon, by looking at ways to increase sales and revenue and ensuring clients return by delivering a VIP experience
  • Communicate and liaise with the teaching department to plan the commercial element of the salon and promote and advertise this to clients
  • Liaise with the marketing team to provide content for social media promotions, salon information and celebrating learner success
  • Assist in reception duties, welcoming clients
  • Assess the performance of learners completing Reception and sales modules within other commercial environments when learners are completing work placements with employers
  • Manage own diary regarding employer visits and meet KPIs around employer relations

Role Requirements:

  • Have experience working in a commercial salon
  • Relevant professional industry experience, including proven success within sales
  • Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in English and Maths
  • Level 3 vocational qualification
  • Assessors qualification (CAVA / A1)
