Description

The HSE Coordinator is responsible for implementing and monitoring site-specific health, safety, and environmental operations.

The HSE Coordinator is the primary contact for employees and supervisors concerning safety-related matters and is responsible for the initial creation of risk assessments and standard operating procedures.

This includes but is not limited to risk management activities, health surveillance, HSE inductions and training programmes, contribute to incident investigation and analysis.

The HSE Coordinator provides resources and information to employees and management as needed.

Profile

  • Proven 'hands on' HSE experience within in a manufacturing environment. Other similar industries will be considered.
  • NEBOSH qualified, Environmental qualification preferred. A strong systems focused individual with proven experience in HSE related management systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
  • Experienced internal / Lead auditor (ISO 14001/ISO 45001).
  • Sound IT skills including use of the Microsoft Office package with the ability to quickly learn new skills and become familiar with new software packages.
  • Positive, friendly, driven attitude with an outgoing personality
  • Able to communicate well with both shop floor and senior stakeholders alike.
