We are seeking a Senior HR Consultant with extensive experience in providing high-level specialist HR advice and guidance. This role is ideal for someone skilled in recruitment & retention, change management, and complex employee relations case work, including disciplinary, grievance, and capability issues.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Provide specialist HR advice and guidance on recruitment & retention, change management including restructuring and TUPE, terms & conditions.
  • Manage high-level complex employee relations case work including disciplinary, grievance, and capability issues.
  • Oversee attendance management processes.
  • Manage others in the delivery of HR solutions, case work, or projects.
  • Handle a complex employee relations caseload.
  • Develop and review corporate HR policies and procedures.
  • Work within a trade union environment.
  • Design and deliver learning and development events.
  • Interpret and apply up-to-date knowledge and understanding of employment legislation.
  • Analyse, interpret, and present management information to a range of audiences in various formats.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a HR role providing high-level specialist advice and guidance.
  • Experience managing others in the delivery of HR solutions, case work, or projects.
  • Strong background in managing a complex employee relations caseload.
  • Skilled in developing and reviewing corporate HR policies and procedures.
  • Experience working within a trade union environment.
  • Capability in the design and delivery of learning and development events.
  • Proficient in interpreting and applying employment legislation.
  • Excellent analytical skills with experience in interpreting and presenting management information.
