Role overview:
Harworth Group is seeking a highly motivated Paralegal to join their in-house Legal team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a diverse range of legal matters, including acquisitions, disposals, leases, planning, construction, corporate, finance, litigation and commercial contracts.
Key responsibilities:
- Support Legal Counsel with real estate transactions, including contract review, due diligence and document execution.
- Assist with litigation matters, including disclosure, evidence management and document preparation.
- Review and maintain legal precedents and stay updated on real estate and planning law developments.
- Provide legal training and guidance to operational teams.
- Assist with the management of legal systems and processes, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
About You:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual with:
- A Law degree (LLB) or equivalent qualification (GDL, LPC, or CILEX Level 6).
- Experience gained within a commercial real estate environment (private practice or in-house) preferred.
- Strong understanding of real estate law, with experience in contract review, due diligence and document execution.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple transactions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex legal issues.
