Rotherham Council are looking to appoint experienced HR Business Partners to support ongoing Corporate HR projects. Working closely with Strategic Directors and Leadership teams, you will, alongside overseeing day-to-day HR activities, support the development of organisational and people projects. 

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Manage a team of HR Consultants to ensure the effective delivery of high-quality people solutions and interventions.
  • Oversee the delivery of organisational change, organisational development activities, workforce planning, and skills development.
  • Provide high-level advice, guidance, and support across the council.
  • Produce whole council strategies and develop a customer-focused service that is responsive and flexible.
  • Identify clear objectives for service delivery, including management of risk and development of performance management action plans.
  • Initiate and manage major change initiatives in service delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Must have experience in Local Government, specifically with terms and conditions, change management, and trade union consultation.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team of HR professionals.
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
