Job Title: Credit Controller - Temporary to Permanent

Location: Central Milton Keynes

Salary: £15 per hour to £16.50 per hour

Type: Permanent - Fully Office Based

Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 30 minute/1 hour lunch

The Role:

As a Credit Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient management of customer accounts, maintaining accurate records, and driving timely payments. Your responsibilities will include:

Managing customer accounts to ensure invoices are paid on time and addressing overdue accounts promptly.
Accurately allocating payments to invoices, ensuring SAP reflects the bank statement.
Maintaining credit limits, payment terms, and risk classifications within SAP.
Ensuring compliance with company credit policies, keeping all documentation up to date.
Investigating and resolving payment disputes efficiently to prevent delays.
Working closely with internal teams (Sales & Distribution, Finance) to ensure smooth credit-related processes and resolve any mismatches.
Supporting the billing process, including handling milestones, prepayments, and card payments.
Keeping customer data accurate and up to date in SAP.
Maintaining clear and traceable records in SAP for audit and compliance purposes.

What We're Looking For:

3+ years' experience in Credit Control with a solid understanding of business processes related to Credit Control.
Strong knowledge of SAP - experience in maintaining data, reconciling accounts, and processing payments is essential.
A proactive approach, excellent problem-solving skills, and strong attention to detail.
Effective communication and relationship-building skills to collaborate across departments.
