The Role:

As a Credit Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient management of customer accounts, maintaining accurate records, and driving timely payments. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing customer accounts to ensure invoices are paid on time and addressing overdue accounts promptly.
  • Accurately allocating payments to invoices, ensuring SAP reflects the bank statement.
  • Maintaining credit limits, payment terms, and risk classifications within SAP.
  • Ensuring compliance with company credit policies, keeping all documentation up to date.
  • Investigating and resolving payment disputes efficiently to prevent delays.
  • Working closely with internal teams (Sales & Distribution, Finance) to ensure smooth credit-related processes and resolve any mismatches.
  • Supporting the billing process, including handling milestones, prepayments, and card payments.
  • Keeping customer data accurate and up to date in SAP.
  • Maintaining clear and traceable records in SAP for audit and compliance purposes.

What We're Looking For:

  • 2+ years' experience in Credit Control with a solid understanding of business processes related to Credit Control.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP - experience in maintaining data, reconciling accounts, and processing payments is essential.
  • A proactive approach, excellent problem-solving skills, and strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills to collaborate across departments.
