Technical Support Engineer

Stroud - Permanent - Fulltime- 7:30-16:00, early finish Friday - Salary DOE

My client Is looking for a Technical Support Engineer, to be a key component of the technical team, supporting numerous areas of the business including production, quality and the laboratory. You will provide technical, practical and admin support.

The role:

    • Create process data cards for the treatments and paint facilities
    • Support technical team to understand deliver requirements
    • Actively support operations and laboratory- with developing and implementing processes and procedures
    • Maintaining technical and quality documentation
    • Support ongoing continuous improvement activities
    • Supporting a strong safety culture
    • Auditing company processes and operating procedures

 

The Person:

    • Hold a relevant technical qualification - (Science/Chemistry) to A level standard. AND/OR at least three years' experience.
    • Team player with the ability to work using your own initiative.
    • Priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • Understanding of Microsoft office and Manufacturing systems
