Senior Finance Business Partner

The Role:-

Due to growth, we are seeking to add to a Senior Finance Business Partner to our client's team in Milton Keynes

This is an exciting time to join the business with new projects and change on the horizon

We are seeking a dynamic, team orientated individual who is a self-starter and able to spot errors

Control of month end - checking deadlines are met and timetables are adhered to

Create the month end pack collecting date from the other Finance Business Partners and other areas of the business into one succinct pack - reviewing figures and checking that relevant commentary is included in the correct sections of the management reporting pack

Create and check KPI's - identifying risks, errors and problems and viewing for areas of improvements in the month end packs that will allow for a retrospective and futuristic view of the business so planning can be made

Manage the reconciliations process, and check the quality of the work ready for audit - liaison with external auditors

Balance sheet rec's and general ledger maintenance

Consolidation of forecasts and budgets for Board submission - creation of budgets and forecasts so other stakeholders understand salient issues

Financial analysis to provide insights into business performance and trends against budgets and forecasts. Identifying KPI's impacting the financials and make suggestions

Help identify the "better way of working" to enhance processes to increase team efficiency's - implement and suggest for continued improvement including streamlining of data collection, and work flows to provide effective insights

Regular review of controls to ensure they are suitable for purpose

Compilation of audits in a timely manner

You will have an ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent qualification - excellent attention to detail and the mentality to not only spot errors, but also get tasks done "first time right". You will have an established Finance Business Partner experience with stakeholder influence for both finance and non-finance. You will have Board Level presentation experience with the ability to create executive summaries

IT Skills - Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI and TM1 advantageous as well as strong Excel and PowerPoint capability

You will be exemplary with written and spoken communications and have strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modelling, budgets, and variance analysis

Board level audience presentations, with exec summaries and clear concise detail for finance and non-finance stakeholders

An eye for spotting the root causes of issues and be proactive in solutions

Capability in working with gross margins, and able to communicate the influences affecting margins

A motivational and confidence inspiring character with a collaborative and customer focused attitude - tailored with a "can do" attitude
