Broster Buchanan are hiring a Tax Manager, Professional Standards for a leading membership organisation of tax professionals.This is a permanent full-time role paying circa £48k-£52k and is a fully remote working position.The Tax Manager will fulfil a very unique and varied role:- Advising tax & accounting firms on regulatory issues i.e. AML processes- Supporting members with technical and ethical queries- Creating content on topical & technical developments (website content, newsletters, webinars etc.- Supporting UK government and related organisations on tax policy initiatives with consultation responses, collecting views of the members, working parties etc.The membership body are looking for someone with a background of working in a tax role in the professional, with some understanding of regulatory and compliance issues the profession faces.Interest in tax policy and the changing UK tax landscape is beneficial.Ideally you would hold a relevant tax/accounting qualification (CTA / ACA / ATT / AAT etc) but this is not required.A genuinely unique role for a fantastic organisation - A great opportunity for someone in practice looking for a different kind of role or someone looking to take on a fully-remote position.Apply now to find out more and to view the full job description
