People Operations AssistantMilton Keynes | £28,000 | Hybrid (4 days office, 1 day home)

Macildowie are currently working with a client in Milton Keynes to recruit a People Operations Assistant. This role sits within the People Shared Services team, delivering high-quality transactional HR services while ensuring legal and company compliance. You'll be part of a dynamic team, working closely with HR and key stakeholders to provide efficient, effective, and team-focused solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional service to internal and external colleagues, stakeholders, and candidates.
  • Work to service level agreements, continuously improving HR processes.
  • Administer and communicate new starter Service Agreements and colleague amendments, ensuring KPIs are met.
  • Coordinate and deliver induction meetings for new hires alongside hiring managers.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, including processing personal detail changes.
  • Oversee new starter processes for systems and applications, liaising with the Reward team as needed.
  • Manage reference checks, visa processes, and occupational health matters for new starters.
  • Track and monitor regulatory compliance, including known consignor activities.
  • Oversee the leaver process, ensuring all systems and applications are updated correctly.
  • Manage the People Operations inbox, ensuring timely responses.
  • Promote the company's employee value proposition and champion its values.
  • Additional Accountabilities:
  • Support cross-functional HR and business-wide projects.
  • Contribute to the overall HR Strategy, Objectives, and Goals.
  • Act as a role model, promoting company values at all times.

Essential Criteria:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience within an administrative role.

Desired Criteria:

  • Experience using HRIS, including Workday and Oracle.
