Infrastructure Engineer - Insurance Experience
My client in the insurance industry are searching for 2 Infrastructure Engineers to join their team to work on a 6 month initial contract. The role is outside IR35 and will be on a hybrid basis with the office location as Milton Keynes.
Key Skills
- Demonstrate extensive experience working as a cloud/infrastructure engineer/senior engineer or in similar IT roles.
- Extensive experience working with cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure, M365 and Exchange Online.
- Extensive experience working with multi-site and multi forest Active Directory environments, group policy and DNS.
- Extensive experience working with Windows desktop, including all levels of troubleshooting.
- Extensive experience working with cloud, server, desktop, network and telephony providers.
- Good knowledge of WAF (Imperva)
- Good knowledge of Azure Files, File Services and DFS
- Good knowledge of Commvault backup technology
- Good knowledge of IT security practices and the implementation of tools that provide MFA, DLP, proxy services, encryption, event logging and alerting.
Desirable Experience
- Good knowledge of Microsoft server technologies (Windows 2023, 2019, and 2016)
- Good knowledge of Active Directory, DHCP, DNS & Group Policy
- Good knowledge of Nutanix
- Experience with Mimecast
- Experience with Anti-Virus technologies such as CrowdStrike
- Knowledge of identity management solutions such as Entra ID
- Knowledge of proxy services such as Netskope
