Mixxos are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Inventory Planner to support the procurement needs of our client’s group of companies. In this role, you will work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of goods, effective inventory management, and strong supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities for an Inventory Planner:

  • Collaborative Forecasting - Work with trading teams, including buyers and sales managers, to review sales trends and forecasts to manage stock levels effectively.
  • Supplier Coordination - Liaise with suppliers to secure updated lead times and manage expectations.
  • Order Management - Create, process, and update purchase orders across multiple systems.
  • Inventory Control - Monitor inventory levels, highlight purchasing needs, and ensure inventory control aligns with key stock KPIs.
  • Logistics Coordination - Coordinate with sea freight and logistics providers to ensure timely collection and delivery of goods.
  • Supplier Performance Management - Assist in managing supplier agreements, setting KPIs, and monitoring performance to ensure compliance.
  • Process Improvement - Continuously review suppliers and internal processes to identify potential cost-saving and process improvements.
  • Data Management - Update internal systems with accurate product pricing and produce relevant reports as needed.

Key Skills for an Inventory Planner:

  • Proven 2 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role
  • Familiarity with procurement processes and systems
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Competency in Microsoft Excel
  • Be able to work under pressure and under your own initiative
