Insight Employment are seeking a Warehouse Manager for a client of ours in Bletchley.

The Company: -

Our client is a is a leading eCommerce business; they specialise in selling power tools to both B2B and B2C markets. They are a dynamic, fast-paced organisation committed to delivering exceptional customer service and operational excellence. They are now seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee and optimise our warehouse operations to ensure efficiency and high standards in every aspect of the role.

The Role: -

As a Warehouse Operator you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of their warehouse and the efficient handling of our products.

Key Responsibilities: -

  • Warehouse Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations across multiple locations, including goods-in, storage, stock control, and dispatch, ensuring efficient and effective processes.
  • Coordination and Optimisation: Coordinate and optimise activities between multiple warehouse locations to maintain efficiency and ensure consistent service levels.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse staff to achieve operational targets and maintain high standards. Collaborate with the recruitment team to identify staffing needs, participate in the hiring process, and ensure proper onboarding and training of new employees.
  • Stock Management: Implement and maintain effective stock management and control procedures across all areas to ensure accurate inventory levels and minimise discrepancies.
  • Space and Process Optimisation: Optimise warehouse space, layout, and processes to maximise efficiency and productivity.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
  • Performance Analysis and Improvement: Analyse operational performance, identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Compliance and Safety: Always ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies at all times, fostering a safe working environment.

Qualifications and Requirements: -

  • A bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is preferred or proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar leadership role.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with a keen ability to oversee complex logistics.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems and software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with recruitment teams to identify staffing needs and participate in the hiring process.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • A forklift licence or relevant certification would be advantageous.

Hours: -

Monday - Friday 08:00-18:00 & two Saturdays per month - 08:00-13:00

Salary: -
