**Order Fulfilment Manager - Milton Keynes - Global Manufacturer**

We are currently recruiting for a world leading manufacturer in their field, have over 300 factories, 25,000+ employees and sales of £9+ billion in FY 2022. Last year alone they put their name to 85 new patents and invested over £190million into R&D/Innovation.

We are looking for a dynamic and results driven manager to oversee the order management process, manage order backlog, driving process improvements and leading projects to improve efficiency.

Role:

You will be responsible for;

  • Oversee and manage the complete Order-to-Cash process, ensuring timely and accurate order processing, from order receipt to final delivery and payment.
  • Manage and resolve order backlogs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues, preventing recurrence.
  • Conduct business and analytical reporting to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for continuous improvement across the order management process.
  • Lead and manage projects aimed at process optimization, implementing best practices to enhance operational efficiency and streamline workflows.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Sales, Logistics, and Customer Service to address issues and ensure smooth and efficient order processing.
  • Develop, maintain, and present regular KPI reports on order performance, backlog status, and project progress. Key metrics include Order Cycle Time, OTIF (On-Time In-Full), Backlog Clearance Rates, and overall Order-to-Cash performance.
  • Provide training and ongoing support to team members, ensuring adherence to best practices and established processes.

Candidate:

The ideal candidate will;

  • Strong attention to detail with a process-driven approach.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
  • Proficient in data analysis, identifying trends, and translating insights into actionable improvements.
  • Experience in order management, supply chain, operations, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing backlogs, optimizing order processing, and improving operational efficiencies across the order-to-cash cycle.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in Google Workplace, MS Excel, order management systems (OMS), ERP systems (e.g. SAP)
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
