Are you an experienced Cover Supervisor looking for flexible and rewarding work in secondary schools across Milton Keynes? Dunbar Education is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team and support students' learning in the absence of their teachers.
Responsibilities of a Cover Supervisor:
- Delivering pre-set lessons across a variety of subjects.
- Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment.
- Encouraging student engagement and maintaining focus.
- Supporting students with their learning and responding to any questions.
- Upholding school policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and structured classroom setting.
What We're Looking For:
- A minimum of 6 months of UK experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar classroom-based role.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or a willingness to obtain one.
- Confidence in leading a classroom and engaging students.
- Strong communication, adaptability, and organisational skills.
- A passion for education and supporting young people in their learning journey.
