We are seeking Cover Supervisors, who can fit in with an energetic, fun and dedicated team. 

This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody who is looking to start their PGCE this September in a well led, collaborative and supportive environment, or for a teaching assistant who has previous experience of classroom management. 

The role involves providing cover for whole classes, e.g. to cover short term teacher absences.

Your main responsibilities will be, but not be limited to:

-Ensuring that the work left for the pupils by the absent teacher is completed.

-Confidently engaging with the class

-Managing classroom behaviour

-Working in line to the school’s safeguarding and behaviour policy

Requirements

-Strong communication skills

-Ability to manage behaviour in line with school’s policies

-Experience working with children and young people in the last 2 years or a relevant qualification

-You will hold a valid Child Workforce DBS or be willing to process one through Excell Supply.
