We're seeking a motivated Trainee Fire Alarm / Emergency Lighting Tester & Fire Door Inspector to join a growing team. No prior experience is necessary - the company will provide full training and support to get you up to speed.

DUTIES
Once trained your duties as the Trainee Fire Alarm / Emergency Lighting Tester & Fire Door Inspector include:
- Conducting routine Fire Alarm system testing, checking functionality and identifying potential issues
- Inspecting Emergency Lighting systems to ensure operational status and compliance
- Performing routine Fire Door Inspections, verifying compliance with The Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022, including checking installation, seals, closers, and other components
- Carrying out general fire, health, and safety checks within residential and commercial properties
- Travelling to various sites across London and surrounding areas to perform these duties
- Receiving comprehensive training and utilising provided tools to complete inspections and tests accurately and efficiently
- Contributing directly to the safety and compliance of the buildings visited
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
As the Trainee Fire Alarm / Emergency Lighting Tester & Fire Door Inspector you will have the following skills and experience:
- Applicants must be presentable, proven to be extremely reliable and able to work on your own initiative
- Good understanding of Microsoft office applications to complete test findings
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- The ability to apply their initiative in order to see tasks through to completion.
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Full drivers licence and own vehicle required
