SEN Teaching Assistant - Morecambe:
Prospero Teaching are looking for a teaching assistant with experience supporting complex needs to join one of our schools near to Morecambe. This is a full time position to start after the Febuary half term.
The Role:
- Supporting pupils in small groups and on a 1-1 basis
- Reguarly communicating with the class teacher to monitor progress of the pupils
- Preparing learning resources and activities
Position Details:
- Location: Morecambe
- Position: SEN TA
- Hours: 8:20am-3:20pm
- Type of Work: Temporary
- Full time/Part time: Full time only
- Minimum Rate of Pay: £90 per day, depending on experience
- Start date: Feb 2025
- End date: Ongoing
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
- Previous experience supporting children with complex needs within an educational setting is essential
- Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
- Team Teach qualification would be highly desired
- Experience of positive behaviour management skills
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
