Prospero Teaching is seeking an experienced teaching assistant for a full-time position supporting children with complex needs near Morecambe.
The role involves working with pupils 1-1 and in small groups, preparing learning resources, and collaborating with staff to monitor progress.
The position starts after the February half-term on February 24, 2025, and pays a minimum rate of £90 per day, depending on experience.
Candidates should have previous experience in a school setting with complex needs and ideally possess a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification.
Applicants must have the right to work in the UK, an enhanced DBS certificate, and provide two professional child-related references from the past two years.

SEN TA - Morecambe:

Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced teaching assistant to join one of our schools near to Morecambe. You will be supporting children with complex needs in small groups and on a 1-1 basis.

This position is to start after the February half-term and will be full time

The Role:

Supporting pupils 1-1 and in small groups
Preparing learning resources and activities
Liaising with other staff to monitor progress
Building a supportive and nurturing learning environment

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
Previous experience supporting children with complex needs in a school setting
Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification is desired

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
