SEN TA - Morecambe:

Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced teaching assistant to join one of our schools near to Morecambe. You will be supporting children with complex needs in small groups and on a 1-1 basis.

This position is to start after the February half-term and will be full time

The Role:

  • Supporting pupils 1-1 and in small groups
  • Preparing learning resources and activities
  • Liaising with other staff to monitor progress
  • Building a supportive and nurturing learning environment

Position Details:

  • Type of Work: Temporary
  • Full time/Part time: Full time only
  • Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm
  • Minimum Rate of Pay: £90 per day, depending on experience
  • Start date: 24/02/2025
  • End date: Ongoing

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

  • Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
  • Previous experience supporting children with complex needs in a school setting
  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification is desired

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
