This role involves close collaboration with the Sales Manager and the Head of Accountancy Programmes to drive growth and integrate sales strategies with accountancy programmes and apprenticeship requirements. Day-to-day of the role:
  • Drive new and repeat business through proactive inbound and outbound B2B and B2C sales efforts.
  • Meet and exceed ambitious revenue targets, contributing to the company’s overall revenue goals and monthly minimum planned starts on accountancy programmes.
  • Establish our company as a trusted partner and first-choice provider for clients, building lasting relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Represent the company at industry events, including conferences, trade shows, and networking opportunities, to enhance brand presence and foster new relationships.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and customer needs, translating insights into strategies that drive business growth.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate business development outcomes and strategic insights.
  • Participate in staff development activities and ensure continuous professional development in line with the post, staying up to date with sector and legislative changes.
  • Create positive working relationships with other departments and key stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven success in B2B and B2C sales, including new business acquisition and revenue generation.
  • Strong understanding of the accountancy sector and apprenticeship programmes.
  • Experience working with decision-makers at various levels, with a consultative approach and the ability to adapt to clients’ unique values and requirements.
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage diverse audiences.
  • Strong organisational skills, with a focus on time management, planning, and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales KPIs and revenue targets.
  • Ability to work effectively with CRM systems and manage lead follow-ups to recruit new employers and fee-paying customers.
