Role Overview:

The General Ledger Accountant is responsible for managing fixed assets, general ledger transactions, and financial reporting. This role ensures accurate financial records, compliance with GAAP, and timely reporting while supporting audits and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute general ledger and fixed asset accounting transactions, including closing bookings
  • Reconcile general and subledger accounts
  • Prepare and process journal entries for Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet
  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
  • Support statutory reporting, tax filings, and intercompany reconciliations
  • Assist in transfer pricing documentation and financial statement preparation
  • Provide support for audits and compliance requirements
  • Conduct training sessions as needed

Requirements:

  • Finance degree, AAT qualification, or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Experience with SAP systems
