This organisation has a turnover of circa 5 million, are significantly well known locally and have fantastic staff engagement. They are also known externally having won multiple awards consecutively, along with being a very positive contributor to the local community. They have over 100 employees, with a complex accounting function, and this role will operate as number 1 in Finance working very closely with the collaborative senior leadership team.

Head of Finance
In this role as Head of Finance, you will lead the transactional finance of 4, producing the accounts at both month and year end, prepare the annual budgets, forecasts and monthly KPI's along with year-end statutory accounts and other projects. Your role will also be to provide the operational leaders with financial analysis to drive decisions commercially within the organisation to maximise performance. If experience permits, you will also take the lead on IT related activity, supervising the IT manager.

The Requirements

You must ideally be qualified CIMA / ACCA / ACA and have operated in a Senior Leadership role where you can display your autonomy.
The business has a complex accounts receivable ledger with a wide range of revenue streams and is heavily regulated with compliance so you must have a strong attention to detail, be solution orientated, and 'sweat the small stuff.'
You must naturally encompass the values of the business, which are focused around a togetherness culture, no ego's, supportive and collaborative throughout.
You must have strong systems, IT, and excel experience as you will be leaned on for support within these areas.
You must have a solid career history with good loyalty, able to show commercial acumen, but there is no specific industry experience required as an essential.

This position is one that will not come around often. Hours are 37.5 per week, and you may work these around your personal commitments, to be agreed upon appointment.
