Property Portfolio Manager
Company Overview:
We are an established residential block management company based in New Malden Surrey KT3. The candidate will be responsible for a portfolio of freehold ground rent properties and blocks of flats let on ASTs.
Ensure all blocks of flats are effectively managed with minimum arrears
Liaise with property managers and accounts to personally deal with difficult arrear cases and resolve
Liaise with external debt collectors and solicitors to resolve disputes
Prepare information and supporting evidence for Court or leaseholder tribunals
Dispose assets that are not profitable
Add value to existing asset base by exploring and implementing development potential
Oversee rent renewals, freehold sales and lease extensions. Resolve difficult cases
Experience and Skills :
Think on the spot and deal with issues and challenges in a timely fashion
Ability to gather, assimilate, analyse and effectively summarise information for dispute resolution
Ability to organise and manage multiple priorities without immediate supervision
Ability to communicate confidently and effectively with strong written communication skills
Legal experience in the property sector and understanding of residential leases and thorough knowledge of Landlord & Tenant Act 1985/1987 is essential
Ability to multi-task and prioritise daily tasks to meet deadlines
Ability to approach problems both logically and creatively
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Use initiative and take responsibility for providing solutions.
Salary:£40000-£50000 (Based on experience)
Hours of work:8:30 am to 5:30 pm (including 1 hr lunch)
