Temporary Planning and Procurement Assistant to join this team on the outskirts of Newark for a 3-month temp contract. In this role, you will provide essential support to the Production Manager and Senior Quantity Surveyor, ensuring the efficient purchasing of materials and supplies and assisting with planning activities for the factory. Key Responsibilities:
- Source, purchase, and track materials to ensure timely availability.
- Maintain accurate records of orders, deliveries, and stock levels.
- Schedule and coordinate activities to ensure smooth and efficient project execution.
- Liaise with suppliers to negotiate pricing, delivery times, and resolve any discrepancies.
- Assist with inventory management, monitoring stock levels to ensure timely replenishment.
- Support the preparation of reports related to procurement and planning activities.
