A specialist school in Newbury are looking to welcome a Student Wellbeing Assistant on board this October, to join their staff in providing tailored education to students with additional needs. The school have an impressive line-up of professional therapists, psychologists and SEN specialists working at the school that work alongside classroom assistants to ensure the students receive individual learning support that they do not receive in mainstream education.

As a Student Wellbeing Assistant, you will be supporting students on a 1-1 basis, helping them face challenges that come up during the school day. The students at this school face barriers and struggles regarding developmental trauma and different social, emotional and mental health needs. The Student Wellbeing Assistant will be responsible for observing triggers and facilitating different therapeutic techniques with the goal of promoting the students' mental well-being.
