Our client is a successful and established, highly successful and expanding hospitality group, based in Newcastle upon Tyne. They are currently looking for an experienced Hotel Manager to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. The job you will be doing;
- Providing the highest quality of service to guests
- Be instrumental to achieving hotel and business objectives are accomplished
- Manage the day to day operations of the hotel and oversee all departments
- Support operations management by advising on policy and procedures
- Ensuring all urgent matters and addressed correctly and in accordance with company policy
- Make sure all health and safety compliance is met throughout the hotel
- Develop staff and management through mentoring and coaching
- Conduct quarterly appraisals with the team
- Follow all recruitment procedures and ensure these are followed by all
- Create rotas for the needs of the business, and review all holiday requests to maintain cover
- Make sure all training is up to date and takes place
- Maintain cleanliness and maintenance issues by using a daily compliance diary
- Ensure the site is adhering to Health and Safety, Food Safety and Licensing
- Conduct regular site inspections to make sure all standards are being met
- Ensure the site achieves 5 star EHO rating
- Communicate effectively with the Area General Manager and the team
About You
- Previous Hotel Management experience is essential.
- Have a passion for excellent service and enjoy working in professional surroundings

- Be able to create a great atmosphere by welcoming customers
- Be confident and self-motivated, displaying a passionate commitment to the business
