Your new companyI am delighted to be supporting a lovely organisation on the recruitment of a 17-month FTC for a Senior HR Advisor to cover a maternity period within a small HR team. The role is located on site for the first few months, then offers hybrid working.

**Must be able to get to site in South Tyneside**Your new roleWithin your new role you will work closely with the wider HR function to support on a range of HR activities while overseeing the HR Advisors, reporting into the Senior HR Manager.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead, motivate, and supervise direct reports to ensure high levels of performance and productivity
  • Provide advice, support, and coaching to line managers across the full ER including disciplinaries, conflict management, absence management, performance, probation, equality, and employee welfare
  • Provide support to managers to allow them to address and resolve conflicts
  • Lead the development, review, and implementation of the
  • HR policies and procedures
  • Support learning and development activities across the business
  • Identify opportunities to streamline HR
  • Support initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience within an HR Generalist role previously
  • Payroll experience (Advantageous)
  • CIPD L.5 or above
  • Strong Employment Law knowledge
  • Proficient with MS Office and HRIS Software
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop and deliver training
  • Experience in fast-paced environments
