We are seeking driven, confident and experienced Business Development Managers.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing effectively and profitably.

You will successfully develop new business across all the market sectors within the defined territory.

This is a remote-based role with travel therefore, your own vehicle is required with a full-UK license.

There are 3 x BDM roles available; the territories areas include:

  • South-West
  • Yorkshire & North-East
  • Scotland, Northern Ireland & North-East

Business Development Manager - Experience

  • At least 4 years proven experience as a Business Development Manager
  • Industry experience is desirable but not essential
  • Full UK driving license

What a day to day as a Business Development Manager will look like:

  • Managing a portfolio of existing Business Account customers, where you willassume responsibility for the development, profitability and service of these accounts. You will also proactively develop new business where the opportunities arise in the designated territory.
  • Regular liaison with internal sales and customer service staff to ensure that all aspects of handling Business Account customers are covered in order to sustain the company’s policy of continuous improvement.
  • To develop and maintain an effective journey cycle.
  • To effectively plan and prepare for sales calls.
  • To write up accurate visit reports on the Contact Log of the company’s business system promptly.
  • To be perceived by the customer as the prime contact for all sales and service issues.
  • Identifying and targeting Prospect accounts in pursuit of new business.
  • Ensure close liaison with credit control.
