Hays Recruitment are currently working with a local organisation to recruit a sales executive. We are looking to speak to candidates who are driven and happy to communicate with customers over the phone. The ideal candidate will have experience with case management, record maintenance and sales negotiation. Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking.
  • Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns
  • Prepare and arrange appropriate demonstrations on products and services
  • Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
  • Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences if required
  • Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
  • Create quotations for clients with accurate information and pricing
  • Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams
  • Maintain sales case records to a highest standards using the in-house CRM system

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

  • This role requires a dedication to delivering outstanding customer service along with a good technical understanding.
  • Polite and professional phone manner
  • Telesales
  • Diary management
  • Experience in B2B telesales
  • Great customer service and sales skills
  • Able to develop a good working relationship with our customers and colleagues
  • Can accurately maintain all internal records
  • Understand the importance of project budgeting and delivering projects within a budget.
  • To be able to monitor the progress of cases and projects in an efficient and effective manner.
