Crane Supervisor

Crane Supervisor - Pedestrian CraneLocation: NewcastleMonday to FridaySearch are working in partnership with a contractor in the North East who are looking for an experienced Crane Supervisor for a Pedestrian Crane. In this role, you will be overseeing the safe and efficient operation of the crane on site, ensuring that tasks are completed as per the project requirements.You will be responsible for:* Supervising and coordinating the operation of the pedestrian crane on site.* Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and procedures.* Managing and directing ground crew during lifting operations.* Communicating effectively with site management and other team members to ensure smooth workflow.* Assisting with risk assessments and implementing safety measures during crane operations.* Monitoring weather conditions and making decisions on crane use based on safety standards.* Providing clear instructions to operators and ensuring they are trained and competent in using the crane.To be considered for this job you must have:ESSENTIAL* CSCS card* Crane Supervisor qualification (with specific experience with pedestrian cranes)* Experience in supervising crane operations on site* Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations related to crane use* Excellent communication and leadership skills* Ability to assess risks and make decisions to ensure site safetyIf this is the role for you or you'd like to discuss further, then apply now.Please note that only applicants who have the required skills and experience detailed above will be considered for this role.
